“I really enjoyed the walking tour of Shitoko village. Yumi was a great guide and knows a lot about life in the village today and local history. Some of the photos she showed of how the area used to look were particularly interesting. I also enjoyed the trip to the Banyan Park, with its impressive trees. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re interested in finding out more about village life on Yakushima Island.” – Debbie
